Pulitzer Prize nominee, Richard Moore (moorepoetry.com) has published ten books of poetry, a novel, a book of literary criticism, and translations from Greek, Latin, French, German, and Italian. He is listed in Who's Who in America, and has published in The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, Harper's, Poetry, The American Poetry Review, The Nation, and many other magazines. In English English you have got
to say�with death, it must be said,
not merely that a person's "shot,"
          he's "shot dead."

So yesterday, someone was looting
as usual, marching off with millions,
and indiscriminately "shooting
          dead civilians."
